Keravan Energia and Nordic Ren-Gas signed a development agreement for a renewable e-methane production facility
Keravan Energia Oy and Nordic Ren-Gas Oy (Ren-Gas) have signed a project development agreement for the Kerava e-methane production facility that produces renewable e-methane, green hydrogen and district heating. The plant will be located in the area of Kerava Energia's biopower plant, which offers an excellent infrastructure for the production of competitive renewable fuel.
Nordic Ren-Gas Ltd is currently developing an e-methane production facility in Kotka. The project is geared towards constructing a facility that will produce renewable synthetic methane, hydrogen, and process heat for Kotka Energy's district heating network. This collaborative project with Kotka Energy is proceeding according to plan, and as part of its development, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has commenced, with the publication of the EIA program.

In addition, Ren-Gas has reserved a suitable site for the project in the industrial area of Pursiala.
